Coaching & Mentoring

Don't waste your talent. Use it for something truly meaningful. We need coaches and mentors like you!

Cultivate partners are matched with mentors and coaches who invest into the relationship, give of their best, and walk alongside our partners to help them build a successful program.

From the convenience of your own home, you can virtually support a partner.
Are you an accountant or financial manager? Teach someone how to build a budget and track their expenses.
Are you a graphic designer? Help a new program design their logo and brand.
Are you a marketing genius? Coach a startup organization how to tell their story and gain followers.
Whatever talent you have, our partners need you!

What's a Mentor?

Mentors give of their talents, knowledge, and resources to help our partners better understand a specific topic needed for their success as a community project leader.

Mentors get to work with several partners, teaching and advising our partners. A mentor may spend just a few sessions with a partner, or as many as the partner needs.

Mentors work with our partners that are in need of that specific type of skilled training, approximately 1-2 hours per session, using video chats, phone calls, and emails, plus any hours that you are willing to offer offline to help that partner's project. Each mentor determines his own hours available for training sessions per month, and we match you with that number of mentoring calls. Mentors can work on one project, with one partner, or be available for multiple projects with multiple partners.

Mentors are needed with skills or expertise in the following areas:

Graphic Design
Marketing & Promotions
Social Media
Grant Writing
Writing & Editing
Photography
Videography
Financial Management
Budgeting & Cash Flow
Community Development
Project Management
Human Resources
Volunteer Management
Cross-Cultural Communications
Fundraising
Board Governance

What's a Coach?

Coaches help our partners grow as community leaders and advance their work. Coaches get to know their partners pretty well, spending 2-3 hours per month guiding them through our leadership development curriculum, working on goals, brainstorming ideas, talking through project difficulties & barriers.

Coaches work with our partners approximately 2-3 hours per month, using video chats, phone calls, and emails. Plus any additional hours that you are willing to give. We ask that all coaches commit to a minimum of 3 months, for the sake of what is best for our partners.

Volunteers with professional experience as coaches are great, but if you don't have the experience, we'll train you. We are looking for people who are great listeners, who ask great questions, and want to support someone who is making their world a better place.

Sign up today to volunteer! We will provide you with training and personally match you with our partners. If you are interested to learn more about this program, fill out the form and we'll connect to see if this is the right fit.

We look forward to meeting you!

Let us know where you live so that we can determine the best ways that you can get involved with our work.
